How well do we know each other's character? Who is Irish? Who lives in Castleton? I would love for every Townkeeper to tell everyone a little about their character. Just post below.

My character is Selena O'Connell. But all my friends call me "Baby". I work in the Crown Inn pub in Castleton where I live. I am originally from Ireland where I was born in Drogheda. My father moved us around a bit until we finally came to Castleton. My father is a blacksmith and needed to go off to other towns to make some extra money by using his craft. He left me to work for my room and board in the Crown Inn and develop friendships and hopefully find a husband. I soon became an apprentice to the mistress Sonya who was the proprietor of the pub. I then took over as the proprietor after mistress Sonya retired.

Me name is Donatella Covelli. I arrived to Castleton with me sister, Michelangela Covelli. I recently changed professions, by no fault of me own (Michelangela has a different story) and find meself in the Bella Donna Pub in the Italian Quarter. Me sister and I had to leave Venice in hast, where we grew up and were trained courtesans by our aunt Carlotta in Russia. As former Courtesans I am well educated, can read, write and count money, and can fight with a bo staff. Me favorite color is lilac, purple, plum.
We sought out our cousin Vito, for assistance in Castleton, because we were fleeing from jewel theft charges, really it was just me, with me sister caught in the middle. Michelangela has now been able to go back to Venice, since she, let's say a better courtesan than pub keeper. I however, prefer pub keeper, for I can, let's say keep a pub running better than the profession of courtesan, I get distracted to easy. I have met a lot of interesting villagers here and find it very comfortable living upstairs of the pub, and do not wish to return. I do miss me sisters Raphaela and Leonarda that are back in Venice. Me hopes one day they can find there way here and visit me.

Bonny, Bonny Moffatt. Originally hailing from Dumfriesshire just north of the Scottish border, I'm a travelling sort. Castelton, though, continues to call me home. This will be my second visit to Castleton where I ply a trade selling programs in exchange for board with Mistresses Maeve and Darcy and do my best to avoid the law men of the town. You see, there are these rumours (unfounded, of course), of my life as a highwayman as though I were a mere thief. Not I as I'm clearly a woman for one. You might call me a facilitator. I certainly haven't broken any laws... yet... today.
If you want to stay on my good side, I love a good whiskey and a bit of song or perhaps a good dice game. If you want to be on my best side, lose in those games. Or perhaps just give me your money without the dice games. That's usually quite preferable and is bound to save you a bit of time.

Sally McCaffree here. I was in the wool business, working for my parents near Castleton until I was grown. Three years ago, we had a good old quarrel and I moved out. I was offered a job working at another pub at first, now I work at the Proud Peacock. I have an older brother who is a merchant sailor. I love a bit of gossip and growing roses. I already went through two or three engagements to build up my parents' fortunes and intend to make no more matches, unless it is my own choice.

My name is Topaz. I was found on the docks of Calais as a very small child, a product, no doubt, of a local wench and a sailor. For some, unfathomable reason, I was taken aboard a pirate ship by a ruthless captain who was always very sweet and protective of me. I'm sure there was issue with the crew. I am, after all, a female, and females are thought to be bad luck on a ship. Their fears were soon overcome and they taught me how to fight, game and look after myself like a man.
When I was 13 I was caught...kissing... the new cabin boy. The cabin boy went over the side and my father sent me to finishing school. That's what he said, anyway. Turns out it was a very prestigious brothel in Paris. I spent two years there, learning how to be a lady in the parlour, (knowing how and putting that knowledge into play are two different things you know) before I escaped and through a series of fortunate events managed to find my way back to my father's ship.
I told him tales of the things I learned in Paris and he decided he had a brand new job for me. One that would be lucrative and also allow me to stay with him on the high seas. I was to be hired out as an assassin. My abilities were soon well known, too well known and, while in Calais on a job to dispose of a certain city official I was arrested and put in the prison, destined to have my head removed from my shoulders.
His majesty, King Henry Tudor had come to visit the french king, I was one of several brought before him to ask pardon, as Calais, while in France, was part of England and therefore, his rule. I do not know why, but I suppose he was feeling benevolent that day and granted me pardon, with conditions. I was to be his personal assassin, if needed and when not needed I was to work at Friar's in a small little town in England that was dear to his heart. I did well at Friar's, kept my nose clean, and when the proprietess of that establishment left under unusual circumstances, he destroyed that pub and had a grand new pub with lodging above built and bade me run it. I was fortunate enough to meet a young woman named Sonia. I strong armed her into working for me. I trained her as best I could and we had very many wonderful times together. I decided I was tired of working so hard, so I opened a ladies fyne clothes shop and left the pub to Sonia. I operated Rufflebutts for a few years, but when my King passed I was released from my bond and word, as there was no official record of an agreement, it was struck elsewhere besides court, and I went back to sea to mourn the loss and to find adventure again. After several years I decided that the sea air wasn't good on these old bones. I have returned to Castleton, preferring the more sedate atmosphere of the Black Boar Pub, where I will now work again for a Tudor, play with old friends again, and an occasional killing may not be out of the question.
