Meet our Romani
Venture into the thickets of our lush village, follow the tinkling music of bells, and the enthusiastic beat of drums until you find the colorful Svengaro travelers known as Romani. Our resident Romani have been a melodious addition to our Castleton village since 1473; after the Svengaro family was gifted residency in thanks to their courageous act of disguising King Henry the VII and his mother through the Port of Denver. Now in 1569, Old Sage has passed on and Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth Tudor the 1st has extended the protection of the crown to the Romani tribe during her regency. Generations of Romani have since been raised within our community, and now you will find harmony and fantastical art happening in our vardo encampments. Visit and rejoice with our blended family!
