What is a Townkeeper?
The Best of Both Worlds!
A Townkeeper is what we call cast members that play a character and have a paid, functional role during the festival day. These jobs include, but are not limited to: pubbers, ticket takers, program sellers, quest givers, etc. Our Townkeepers have the best of both worlds! These actors are included in the fun, interactive academies that cover improvisational entertainment, but also the duties of pivotal duties that ensure our festival runs smoothly. We are looking for unique people to take the challenge of creating a village character that will fit into the Townkeeper position. These positions receive additional compensation in hourly wages or substantial tips. No experience needed-- All training will occur during the academy weekends!
Positions Available 2025:
Pubbers: Must be 21+, able to obtain a Liquor License, and count money & change without the use of a register.
Gatekeepers (ticket takers) and Information Booth: Must be 16+ Shifts are usually 3 to 5 hours, and allow gatekeepers to participate in dance, street interaction, and other festival activities.
